Forestry Department


Planting a New Tree

The Forestry Department staff continues to maintain all the trees on the City of Muskegon terraces and on public property including Cemeteries and Parks.


Forestry Services:

  • Dead tree removal
  • Stump grinding
  • Storm damage cleanup
  • Tree planting
Tree Removal

City residents can request these services only if the tree is on the City terraces in front of their house or on City property. The Forestry office is located at Restlawn Cemetery, 1400 Kenneth St., (231) 724-6783.
